2010年4月1日，CPSC发布了正式的邻苯二甲酸盐测试标准CPSC-CH-C1001-09.3。对于儿童产品中的邻苯二甲酸盐要求是在CPSIA第108节中规定的.
这是2009年3月3日和2009年7月27日，CPSC分别发布邻苯二甲酸盐的测试方法草案CPSC-CH-C1001-09.1和CPSC-CH-C1001-09.2之后，所发布的第三版测试标准，也是正式的测试方法。相比第二个版本，只是对样品制备过程和萃取过程做了细微改动。
